The Fort St. John area offers year round fishing opportunities - everything from fly fishing to ice fishing. The numerous streams, rivers and lakes in the area contain a wide range of fish species, including rainbow trout, lake trout, brook trout, bull trout, arctic grayling, rocky mountain whitefish, walleye, northern pike, burbot and yellow perch.
Due to the remoteness of the area the waterways are rarely crowded providing anglers with great fishing opportunities and endless hours of enjoyment.
Fishing licenses expire on March 31 each year so come in and get your new fishing license and pick up a copy of the most current fishing regulations.
